About Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park
Blizzard Beach at Walt Disney World near Orlando opened on 1 April 1995. Its story is a Florida ski resort that melted in the sun, with snowy slopes turned into water slides.
All the water is heated to around 27 degrees, apart from the cold ice cave on Cross Country Creek, and the park has slides of every size, a wave pool and areas for children. It is one of the most visited water parks in the world and is open almost all year.
