About Futuroscope
Futuroscope lies about ten kilometres north of Poitiers, in the Vienne department of western France. It opened on 31 May 1987 and is built around images and technology, with 3D and 4D cinemas, simulators and attractions that exist nowhere else.
Next to the screens there are rides and shows for all ages, and the striking modern buildings are an attraction in themselves. Around two million people visit each year.
