Movie Park Germany

About Movie Park Germany

Movie Park Germany in Bottrop-Kirchhellen, about 50 kilometres north of Düsseldorf, is a 40-hectare theme park built around films and TV series. The site began in 1967 as a small fairytale park and went through several owners and names. Warner Bros. bought it in 1993 and opened Warner Bros. Movie World Germany in 1996, which has been called Movie Park Germany since 2005.

Today it has seven areas themed to movies and TV, with roller coasters, water rides and shows for both families and thrill seekers. In autumn it is known for its Halloween event.
