About Phantasialand
Phantasialand in Brühl, near Cologne, opened on 30 April 1967 and welcomes around two million visitors a year. What began as a family park is now known for its thrill rides and for some of the most detailed theming in Europe, packed onto a fairly small site.
Highlights include Taron, a multi-launch coaster that is among the fastest of its kind, the inverted coaster Black Mamba, the mine train Colorado Adventure through the mountains of the Mexico area, and the launched flying coaster F.L.Y. The park adds new attractions more often than most, and it regularly ranks among the best theme parks in the world.
