About Walibi Holland
Walibi Holland in Biddinghuizen, in the province of Flevoland, opened in 1971 as Flevohof, an educational park about farming. After its bankruptcy the Walibi Group turned it into an amusement park in 1994, and it was known as Six Flags Holland and Walibi World before taking its current name.
Today it is the Netherlands' park for thrill seekers, with a strong line-up of roller coasters and a lively, music-filled atmosphere. Its mascot Walibi, a wallaby, comes from the sister park in Belgium.
