About Warner Bros. Movie World

Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast in Queensland opened on 3 June 1991 and is Australia's only film-themed park. It is also the oldest Warner Bros. park in the world, older than those in Madrid and Abu Dhabi.

Its layout was inspired by the big studio parks in America, with Hollywood streets, rides themed to DC superheroes and Looney Tunes, roller coasters and stunt shows. It lies in a large entertainment area next to working film studios and receives about 1.4 million visitors a year.
